Payroll Engine is a centralized platform for payroll teams, designed to handle the complete payroll process — from importing employee data to calculating salaries and preparing files for finance and banking.
The platform integrates with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, using it as the primary source of employee data. From there, Payroll Engine manages payroll configuration, calculations, simulations, final payroll runs, financial postings, and bank payment files.
The product is designed specifically to provide a simpler alternative to complex enterprise payroll systems, while being locally adapted to Egyptian payroll legislation and fully integrated with the existing SAP ecosystem.
Challenges
Payroll is a highly complex process involving large amounts of employee data, calculations, regulations, and financial operations. The challenge was to turn this complexity into a structured enterprise experience that payroll teams could understand and control.
