WarDraft brings the fantasy sports model into the world of competitive esports, allowing fans of Counter-Strike and Dota to create their own teams and compete against others.Players can build teams, join private leagues with friends, or compete in a global league while following live matches and player performance.The challenge was to turn a feature-rich fantasy esports platform into an experience that feels competitive, engaging, and easy to navigate, without overwhelming users with the amount of player data, leagues, matches, and team-management options available.
Challenges
Too Much Happening in One PlaceTeam building, league management, and live matches were all competing for attention within the same interface. The amount of functionality made the experience feel cluttered and difficult to navigate.Making Player Data Easier to UnderstandFantasy esports relies heavily on player performance and statistics, but displaying too much information at once overwhelmed users.
